This dock connector to USB cable connects your iPod/iPhone to a computer to charge your iPod/iPhone and sync music and data. It supports all iPod models that have 30-pin dock connectors and all iPhone models including iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS. It can also be used with a USB charger to charge your iPod/iPhone. It supports USB 2.0 and 1.1. It works with iPhone 3G/3GS without any warning message. Note: the plastic housing at the dock connector end is slightly larger than the original Apple OEM cable (see picture). Some iPhone cases (such as some made by Otterbox) have tight dock connector openings -- for those, this cable may not plug into the phone with case on.
